Vision

America needs a 21st century transportation system if we are to remain economically competitive. While personal frustration with congestion and the resulting lack of travel reliability captures headlines, it is only a small reflection of a much larger problem that our antiquated and dilapidated system is creating for the nation. As the 21st century opens, we are left with a system that, after decades of neglect, represents a growing barrier to America’s competitiveness in the global economy.
